Resolve to continue to watch Desperate Housewives in spite of moralists’ pressure not to.

Resolve never to pick up the phone until the message begins and I’m sure it is not a telemarketer.

Despite the nation’s move to the right, I resolve to move further to the left.

Resolve to email my senators and representative to vote against privatizing social security.

Resolve to get the hell out of Florida if there’s another hurricane this new year.

I like them, although you might want to start packing, since there will be another hurricane, it's just the way these things work

Yeah, I fear you're so right.

please rethink this one.  after seeing one of them housewives naked, terrell owens suffered divine retribution in the form of an ankle injury and is gonna be out the rest of the season.

your sagacity is far too badly needed here for you to fool around and risk being strucketh blind.

I like these, Steven!

One of mine is to figure out where I stand on the political spectrum (so far I've learned that I'm further left than most people think)...another is to become a US citizen and get registered to vote.

No 'Desperate Housewives' for me tho....I much prefer The Food Network or BBC in America!

So you like the idea of sub-par returns coming from Social Security that does not even meet the rate of inflation? So the idea of one's hard earned money should go to a stranger in Florida/Arizonia because the current system does not allow your family access to the funds in the case of death? You really feel that the current system is fair the way it is currently structured and should not be changed? You are against the idea of putting the funds into the private market where the rate of return is several times higher?

There's nothing wrong with wise investments, but...I explained all that in another recent blog. Frankly I'd prefer a general fund for people in need; and a generous annuity policy at birth.

No 'Desperate Housewives' for me tho
Could it be the title you object too?-- the show seems more like desperate husbands.

King, masturbation strikes one blind, according to an old wives' tale; but Terri Hatcher stimulates me in my old age--ever since she was Lois Lane she has strucketh me fancifully.

Today's left is barely left of center; what this country needs is New New Deal.

My New Year's Resolution is to not make any New Year's Resolutions....
What's the fun in that? You lose the challenge of breaking them.

Too late! Blindness is certain. Old wives are never wrong.
