I actually remember the Alamo. HOwever, the myth of the legend about the Alamo was shattered when I actually read the true history of it. I am not taking anything away from the Texans killed there, but he embellishments that grew up with them holding off Santa Ana for 11 days (poppycock!) kind of made them mere mortals again.
No one, or at least not I, have forgotten Pearl Harbor. Trudy wrote a prayer for it, and Texas provided some excellent recounting of a first hand witness to it on her article. September 11 was a horrific event, and it will always be remembered, but remembering 9-11 does not mean forgetting 12-7.
