Constructive gadfly

The best thing for curbing global warming in lieu of countless esoteric alternatives would be nationwide commitment to drive less, slow down, attend to air tire maintenance, keep distance and brake less. At home light switch works both ways, buy fluorescent bulbs, adjust thermostat to stoic level, minimize opening refrigerator-freezer, shutdown computer and TV when not in use. Moreover does stores have to be 24/7, close them down at dusk and Sundays, shut down the damn Internet one day a week and do we really need a second bu second, blow by blow of Wall Street shenanigans?

What’s on your list?

Turn all houses over 2500 sq feet into collectives to house the poor.

stores that are open 24/7. are going to have employees in them whether they are open. someone has to re shelf for the next day. being open 24/7 gives them a chance to pay for some of that time.

By gosh you're right I myself many, many years ago in stocking shelves in the wee hours with the store closed probably used the nearly same energy.
